Healing of K.

Installation with digital video, reel to reel tape machine, pedestal, various prints
Healing of K is centered around a color therapy session, reconstructed from a box of found tape
recordings of a late 1970’s psychic healer in training and her patient “Kaye”. The installed video
is delivered by a monolithic tape machine at the head of the room. Surrounding this presentation, are a series of manipulated photographs sourced from prints found with the original tapes.
