Installation stills from a site specific video to accompany sunset. Shown on a parallel wall for "The Audacity of Tomorrow" at PS122, NY, NY. The show was themed to the promise of "tomorrow" in the candidate's rhetoric for the 2008 election, and the way it is sold to and/or banked on by the public's fear. This video is exactly one hour long and was timed to play on a wall opposite the space's windows, for the hour leading up to and including sunset and dusk. As the video progresses the colors parallel those of the setting sun while the word "tomorrow", tiny and far off at first, SLOWLY aproaches, until by dark it is large but has passed up and over the viewer's heads, out of the frame. Thus, tomorrow is always present, viewable even from a distance; yet always elusive.
